From Parents to Grandparents🥰

There comes a time when the same mum and dad who once shouted, “Bas bohat hogaya!” every time you were being naughty suddenly become the softest people in the house.
Because now, they’re about to become Nana, Nani, Dada or Dadi. 🤍

The people who once told you to sit properly, stop making a mess and come home on time are now patiently waiting for their future grandchild — a child they will probably get away with absolutely everything.

And honestly, that is the beauty of becoming grandparents.
Suddenly, your strict mum becomes Nani, already thinking about all the things she’ll cook and all the little clothes she wants to buy. Your dad, who may have once been the strict one in the house, is suddenly imagining a tiny hand holding his finger as Nana.
And then there are the Dada and Dadi, already ready to spoil their grandchild before they have even arrived.
So imagine sharing this news with them. A little onesie. Tiny shoes. Maybe a message that says, “Can’t wait to meet you, Nana!”
And suddenly, everything clicks.

That moment when they realise they are going to be grandparents? The shocked faces, the silence for a few seconds, the “Sach?!”, followed by hugs, happy tears and everyone immediately reaching for their phone to tell the rest of the family. 🥹
And then, before you know it, the same grandparents are planning the biggest announcement of all.

The baby arrives, and suddenly it’s time for hundreds of boxes to go out to family and friends. Complete with the baby’s name, birth date and all the tiny details everyone has been waiting to know.
But of course, there is one thing they absolutely will not forget.
Their new titles. 😂🤍

Somewhere on the announcement, along with the proud parents' names, you’ll probably find:
Dada & Dadi
Nana & Nani
Because becoming grandparents is clearly a title worth announcing too.
The same people who once complained about how naughty you were are now proudly showing everyone pictures of their grandchild. The people who once had rules for you are now saying, “Hamare ladle Bache ko kuch mat kehna.”
And somehow, the naughty child they once struggled to control has now grown up and given them someone new to spoil.

Maybe that’s why these little announcements feel like more than just boxes.
They carry a name that everyone has been waiting to hear. A birth date that marks the beginning of a new chapter. And, of course, four very proud people who have just gained their favourite new titles —
Nana, Nani, Dada and Dadi. 🤍

Because one tiny baby doesn't just make two people parents.
Sometimes, they also turn four very excited people into the proudest grandparents in the world. 🎀
